It's a saga named The Land Of Stories; the first one appeared as The Wishing Spell, and the second one was released under the name of The Enchantress Returns.
Both narrate the story of two twins, Alex and Conner, who discover they're part of two worlds: ours, and The Land Of Stories.
It's a world where all fairy-tales are real, and the characters we grew up with turn out to be more than just fiction.
At The Land Of Stories, Conner and Alex have an unexpected journey, and face many dangerous people such as The Evil Enchantress who cursed Sleeping Beauty, or even the Big Bad Wolf Pack from Red Riding Hood.
Beautifully written, those two books show us that somehow, everything we believe in can become true. Also, it reminds us of the stories we were told about in our childhood.
And if you pretend fairy-tales are silly and childish, I just have one answer for you: as it says in the beginning of the first opus The Wishing Spell: "One day, you'll be old enough to start reading fairy-tales again".
Again: beautifully written, entertaining and funny - 8.5/10
