End 2012, the singer decides to make big changes in her life: Miley 2.0 is launched! Her hair gets blonder, shorter (way shorter) and her interview with Billboard announces that she’s getting a new life.
On the 19th of June 2013, the official clip of We Can’t Stop is uploaded on the Internet: What a shock!
Lots of critics agree on the same point: Everything about the video is way inappropriate for a 20 years old girl! First, the booty… Many sequences in the video relate either Miley shaking frenetically her butt, or Miley “spanking” her friends’. I don’t even need to mention the “twerk addiction” which currently hit the singer; I think most of you are aware of that.
But I believe what really shocked the audience is Miley’s VMA performance… Looking at Rihanna’s and the 1D’s faces should be enough to understand that this time, she’s gone too far… Inappropriate positions with Robin Thicke, most of the audience found her performance more than gross, and way too explicit! Some even say that MTV should’ve forbid her to perform because of her young age!
In resume, we can say that Miley 2.0 is a really rude changing in the young singer’s life. Even if most of the reviews would choose “Downgrade” some of them think it’s an “Update”. Now, what do YOU think about Miley’s evolution? Update? Or Downgrade? And what happened to the young talented girl we used to know?
