And this month, Glee is turning 100!
A hundred episodes, a hundred moments of pure delight. The cast and crew have offered us so much these last years, and they wanted to make this 100th episode special. In order to leave a mark in our hearts, they let the fans decide which songs they should cover. We were able to enter the official FOX website and vote for 10 of thirty songs (already heard in the previous seasons).
But the best news is yet to come...
Ryan Murphy, creator of Glee, announced on Twitter that all the original cast members were coming back! Amber Riley (Mercedes), Mark Salling (Puck), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Heather Morris (Brittany), Kristin Chenoweth (April), and even Gwyneth Paltrow (Holly Holiday) will indeed be part of the 100th episode!!
As for Dianna Agron, who played cheerleader Quinn Fabray in the first 3 seasons, rumor had it the directors didn't ask her to play in the episode. Everyone was wondering whether she would take part in it or not. Fans were starting to lose hope, when Ryan Murphy tweeted she would definitely be back. Oh, and cherry on top, Chace Crawford will be a guest star in the episode, where his character will be Quinn's boyfriend.
So get ready to turn on your TV on March 18 and 25, because the 12th episode of the 5th season will air in two parts. You will probably need a box of tissues since the whole cast will be gathered, which is becoming quite rare.
