And now, as the end of Glee (unfortunately) approaches quite quickly, Lea is learning to fly with her own wings. She had been preparing her solo album for a while, and her dream is finally coming true. There are already a few songs available on iTunes, and the whole CD will be released on March 4.
The actress/singer spills about this debut album, Louder, being something she used to dream about with her late boyfriend and co-star in Glee. Poor Lea reveals Cory's thoughts about her album. "He heard every song and gave me his notes on everything", she says in her Teen Vogue interview. "He loved Battlefield. I'm getting chills thinking about it". As for the song he liked best, the artist remembers "Burn With You was his favorite. He came into the studio that day". A couple weeks ago, when the track You're Mine was released, it was really emotive for the whole fandom, since Lea dedicated it to Cory.
Louder is a really promising CD: the first part that's already available for downloads is simply addictive. A powerful voice capable of reaching any note, deep lyrics that are based on the singer's personal life and "encompass (her) experiences over the past year"... that's what so special about Lea Michele's album.
It describes the 27 year-old Glee star perfectly: both strong and inspiring. Lea proved this power over the last few months, by staying true to herself. She will always be a role model for millions of teenagers.
"I somehow feel the insane love Cory and I had for each other morphed into this strength that I have right now" she admits.
