Katy Perry, An Explosive Come-Back

On the 11th of August 2013, @katyperry tweeted to her followers: "Looks like there's a tiger on the loose!!! Make sure you catch it @iTunesMusic at midnight EDT tonight! #ROAR" - and she added a tiger-shaped emoticon.

Katy Perry is finally ready for an explosive come-back.
After 3 years of waiting - Teenage Dream was released in 2010 - Perry's fans will finally get new songs to listen to. The famous pop star revealed that Prism, her fourth studio album, will be in charts on October, 22.

A single, Roar, is already available on iTunes. More mature than a few years ago, Katy Perry wanted her most recent song to "reflect her new image (...) darker and more anthemic" - as written in the Time Entertainment.
Roar was an immediate hit on iTunes, and up until now it's a great success.

But honestly, I'm still wondering whether we're going to miss the old K.P and regret her previous 'bubblegum' pop work, or whether these changes are for the best?

Pet shop Boys: For The First Time In Lebanon!

The Pet Shop Boys is a successful duo of the 80's, but their fans haven't decreased since their debuts. And if you don't believe me, ask the hundreds of fans who gathered at the International Festival of Byblos to watch one of the best performances of the band.

It was the first Pet Shop Boys concert in Lebanon, but probably not the last. Because the two British artists, Neil and Chris, were welcomed by thunders of applause.

The show was eccentric, if I may say, but superb, colourful, full of stunning numbers and light games... While Bruce was playing instruments, Neil wouldn't drop his micro all night long. He didn't even get tired!

They opened the show with Axis, a song from their latest album named after it. All through the night, they sang a mix of oldies and new hits. The whole concert was amazing, however the classics like Love Etc., Miracles, or Go West were the most appreciated by the fans.

At almost midnight, we thought they had closed the show with Always On My Mind. But they weren't done yet, they came back for two "encores". They surprised us with West End Girls - the song that made them famous - and Vocal - one of their latest hits. Their first song and their last one. A great way to mark the beginning and the end...

A memorable show, however it could've been longer, because one hour and the half weren't enough for the tons of fans...

Best-known as an actress on Disney Channel, Selena Gomez is now concentrating on music and working on her 4th album Stars Dance., that should probably be released on the 23th of July. This album shows a new maturity in her music: she moves from Indie rock to Dance pop tracks. This album promises a great success, for it already has 2 . 740 reviews and it's rated 4.5 stars on iTunes pre-orders. Plus, its first single Come And Get It, that was released a few months ago, is one of the most downloaded songs on iTunes at the moment.

MIKA: Back To The sources

Celebrating his most recent album The Origin Of Love, the half-Lebanese half-British singer came back to his origins.
He hosted, for the 3rd time since his debut, a concert in Lebanon at the Jounieh International Festival 2013, on the 2nd of July. The international pop star gave a great performance, in front of a whole stadium full of fans. Once again, he gave the Lebanese people a reason to be proud of him, a singer known and appreciated world-wide.

As usual, the stage was overwhelmed with colourful decorations, this time about the universal theme of love. Mika entertained his fans with energetic pop music and incredible dance-moves, and he even welcomed a woman onstage and threw huge balloons in the assembly.

He opened the show with a must, one of the best-known songs from his very first album: Relax, Take It Easy. Everyone was standing, dancing, clapping to the beat or holding signs expressing their love for the singer. Afterwards, he said a very touching word, thanking his fans for their support. He did a bunch of songs from his 3 albums (Life In Cartoon Motion ; The Boy Who Knew Too Much ; The Origin Of Love). He even surprised us with a new song never heard before, but really amazing: Live Your Life. Each song was followed by a standing ovation, however it never lasted long: by the time the assembly had stood up, Mika had already began a new performance. He couldn't get tired, and was singing non-stop during the 2 hours of show.

Finally, leaving the best part for the end, the artist closed the show with a brilliant performance of Over My Shoulder, a ballade that follows the track Happy Ending in his debut album Life In Cartoon Motion.

However, the only thing that disappointed some fans is that a bunch of songs were missing, for instance Stardust, Step With Me, I See You or Popular Song (that requires Ariana Grande) ...

MIKA: The Origin Of Love

After 3 years of waiting, Mika's fans finally got what they wanted: last September, he released his third album called The Origin Of Love. It's very different from the last ones - it's a mix of styles, both classic and electro - but still it's a great success.

Mika is half-British half-Lebanese, and he has lived in many cities including Beirut, London and Paris. He has travelled all around the world, so he wanted, for his new songs, a theme everyone would understand. That's why he thought of the only thing we all have in common: love.

At almost 30 years old, he has become more mature than five years ago, at his debuts. He said himself that we can notice this change by listening to his new album.
